While our studio will still be physically closed March 30th through Monday May 11th (at least), we are ramping up our virtual class schedule and taking virtual privates in the meantime. Here’s how to sign up for our virtual classes.
There is no better time to work on your Pilates form!
Which Class is the Best Class for Me?
Classic Mat Flow and Release + Restore will be more all level classes and have less contraindicated exercises. They are most comparative to our Level 1 and Level 2 classes at our studio. They will have a flow focus and more of a “strengthen + stretch” feel.
Intermediate Mat w/ Props and Barre-Less Barre will be more challenging and have a more fitness style focus. We’ll incorporate planking, more intense ab work, etc.
We wanted to create two different class options for the wide population that attends our studio and also provide options for what you may need in this challenging moment in our lives.
How do I Schedule?
Sign up for classes on MBO or you can schedule on our website to let us know that you are attending. Once you schedule, you will be sent a link/invitation to connect on our class server, Zoom. Follow the directions to access the program.
We have the option to purchase drop in virtual classes: $10 for a single, $45 for a 5 Pack.
Evening Classes? On Demand Classes?
We are happy to schedule 5:30 classes next week, but we need your help! Please let us know what days and times you would like.
We are also recording our classes and uploading them to a private YouTube channel. If you would prefer an “on demand” option, let us know what class you would like, and we’ll send it to you.
What is Our Goal with Offering Virtual Mat Classes?
As you know, taking a week off of Pilates is HARD. Taking three weeks of Pilates is that much more difficult.
We want to be able to provide an option for our students while they are at home. And we know that mat work is different than reformer work, but we think this is an opportunity for all of us to practice another apparatus that we don’t have the opportunity on a regular basis to use.
Trust us – working on mat exercises will make you SO much better on the equipment. This is an opportunity to work on form to make you even more proficient in movement.
