Private Session Reminders and FAQ's
Congratulations on taking the next step in your health and wellness journey! We suggest using privates to keep up with your fitness goals. That way you can fit them in around your schedule. We answer some FAQs and offer some gentle reminders when it comes to your private session.
What's included in your membership?
- Additional private sessions can be added each month for the same cost as your per-session price ($59 ea). These will be automatically billed at the end of your billing cycle if you’ve attended more than your allotted eight sessions a month.
- Live Virtual Memberships are available for $49 monthly with a private membership (discounted from $99).
- Looking for a way to practice at home? Use two of your private passes for a customized at-home workout to watch on demand anytime.
- Running low on time and wanting to work out at home? Our instructors can change your sessions to virtual appointments as needed.
Private Memberships have an initial commitment of six months. This is because we fully reserve your day and time in both the studio's schedules, the teacher's schedule, and yours.
Sessions are billed on either the 10th or 20th of the month. You may choose whichever day you prefer. However, billing dates will automatically be set unless you notify us of your preference.
Scheduling and Cancellation Guidelines
All appointments are scheduled at five different periods during the year (Jan-March, April-May, June-Aug, Sept-October, Nov-Dec). We will email you your dates one month prior to each scheduling period. The email title will address the upcoming scheduling period, for example, “January - March Pilates Scheduling.”
The scheduling periods are as follows:
- December 1st (January - March)
- March 1st (April - May)
- May 1st (June - August)
- August 1st (September - October)
- October 1st (November - December)
Certain times and dates are very popular because of this, we ask for a prompt reply to these emails! Upon receiving the email, if we do not hear from you within one week, we will reach out once more to confirm. After that, if we do not hear you within 10 days, we will open those proposed dates and times to other students.
As a membership student, we ask that you thoroughly look over your schedule for appointments, vacations, and other time commitments and let us know at the time of scheduling of any potential conflicts. This makes a huge difference in planning our studio and instructors’ schedules.
Please keep in mind that our instructors do take time off and we may need to occasionally schedule your sessions with a substitute. If we cannot find a day and time that works with a substitute, we may ask you to change your day and time for the week the instructor is out of town for another day.
Canceling and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel, reschedule, or generally have questions about your schedule, please reply to the original scheduling email or text the studio at 260.420.1000. We kindly ask that you do not ask your instructor to cancel or reschedule your sessions. For our private and semi-private students, we require a 72 hour cancellation to avoid being charged in full for your session.
We have students coming in at all different hours and times, thus we recommend calling or texting the studio if a cancellation is less than 72-hours in advance. That way we can pass the message along quickly. We will try to find a student to replace your day and time, but non-emergency late cancellations still apply.
What if I don't use all my sessions in one month?
You will have 90 days (3 months) to reschedule any unused sessions as long as your membership is current.
What if I want to cancel my membership?
Per the membership agreement, we have an initial commitment of six months for the private and duet memberships. In order to cancel the membership, we require a sixty-day written notice (either via email or text).
Can I freeze my membership?
All students with a private membership can freeze it for four weeks a year as long as they have met the initial six-month commitment period. We require a 30-day notice for all account freezes.
