Prepare for a Pandemic Winter
We are all experiencing a lot of new emotions this year. Certainly, ongoing negative news coverage can be overwhelming. Remember to be kind, both to ourselves and others, and it will go a long way towards lifting our spirits! Even experts suggest regularly scheduled safe, socially distant interactions can help by giving you something to look forward to.
Participate in a wellness practice! If you’re reading this you’re likely already on board with movement as medicine. Furthermore, look at any “Fall and Winter Pandemic Preparedness” list, just one example here, and every one of them suggests incorporating some level of exercise. We already know that exercise helps eliminate stress and that practicing mindfulness can actually help decrease anxiety.

During these long dark days, Monday bleeds into Friday, which bleeds into Saturday. And any day can feel like a Wednesday! Without a regular commute, normal schedule, or an opportunity to share in our favorite seasonal traditions, we can lose track of time. But our schedule of in-studio and virtual workout classes can help you keep a sense of normal!
