Class Signup

When you signup or wish to cancel group classes, the best and most effective way to do so is online:

Signup for classes via the Mindbody App.

1).  Download the MindBody App from the app store.

2).  Create a login by entering a username and password (or use a current login).

3).  Choose Pure Movement Pilates (Location: 526 W Jefferson Blvd.) 

4).  The Home tab on the bottom of the screen will bring up the calendar with the schedule of classes.

5).  When you click on the class it will give additional details such as the instructor and a brief description of the class.

6).  Choose a class and hit BOOK.

7).  You can see classes you've registered for by going to your Profile or clicking the calendar in the top right corner 

8).  After you’ve taken a class, you can favorite it by clicking the heart. You can view your favorite class in the Favorites tab so you can remember for the next time you go to book a class.

2).  Click "Book a Class"

3).  Click "Sign Up" next to a class

4).  Create a new account (or use a current one)

In your account, you can sign up, cancel, and reschedule classes.

We do kindly ask that you not ask instructors directly to sign you up or cancel you out of group classes.

Every studio has them: policies, such as the studio cancellation policy.  Please respect our policies put in place for the safety and fairness of all.

One Student Class Policy Collapse

If only one student is signed up for a class within 12 hours before the start time, unfortunately, we may cancel that class and request that the student attend another class.

24hr Cancellation Policy Expand

Scheduling a class holds and reserves the use of studio space and equipment!  Thereby it prevents other students from scheduling for the same period.  In light of our instructors’ limited availability, late cancellations impose tremendous strain on the studio operation. 

Therefore, we kindly request at least 24 hours advance notice of cancellation of any previously scheduled class!

We recognize emergency situations may arise making cancellation within this period impossible in such extraordinary circumstances and/or events.   We will seek to accommodate the student to reschedule his or her session at the earliest possible opportunity. That being said, we must charge the full amount of a class if late canceled or a nonappearance.  We will use the Participant’s credit card on file or a purchased session credit remaining on his or her PMPS studio account, as though the Participant had in fact attended the scheduled session.

The sooner you cancel a class, the sooner we can contact the waitlist, and get your name off of the class register.  The later you cancel, the less likely we can do this.

What if I need to late cancel and have a valid reason?

Email, call, or text (260.420.1000) us ASAP BEFORE the scheduled class and let us know.

Late Arrival Policy Expand

During the first 10 minutes of every scheduled session, instructors undertake a warmup routine designed to mitigate any risk of physical injury occurring as a result of the class.

Therefore to promote the safety and well-being of the students, and for the consideration of all other students and staff, we kindly request that a student arrive no more than ten minutes after any scheduled class start time.

How Will I Find Out if My In Studio Class is Cancelled?  

We often wait until the morning or afternoon of a class to determine if we will still have it based on changing weather patterns.  So, if you are signed up for an in-studio class and we decide to cancel it, we will contact you directly to let you know if it is canceled (via your preferred method of communication - text or email).

What if I Don’t Feel Safe Driving in Poor Weather Conditions?  

If you are signed up for a class, but you feel unsafe driving to class due to weather, call/text, or email the studio to let us know you will not be attending (you will not be charged for late cancellation).  Please be mindful of the waitlist and let us know as soon as possible you will not be attending.

If you're inconsistent in class attendance or waitlisted and missed classes, please carefully consider our levels to find the right one for your fitness level.

Our class levels exist to place you in the best and safest group fitness for your skillset.  Make sure that when you signup for a class, you read the description, understand the equipment that may be used, and expect the exercise mastery.

If you're wondering about a certain level or what level is best for you, ask your instructor and they will be happy to recommend it.  Our higher-level classes (3 and 4) are designed for students who are attending on a regular basis as they include exercises that require a certain level of strength and understanding.

If your Pilates practice has not been consistent, we highly recommend staying with the level 1 and 2 group classes prior to attending level 3 + 4 classes to avoid injury.

Class Waitlist Expand

If You Are Added to a Waitlist More Than 24 Hours in Advance Before the Class:

You will receive an email or text notification if you have been added to the class.  But to be clear, if you are added to a class from the waitlist (more than 24 hours in advance) and do not show, you will be charged for the class.  

 

If You Are Added to a Waitlist Less Than 24 Hours in Advance Before a Class:

You will still receive an email notification that you have been added to a class and you may receive a message directly from an instructor, or the studio, that you have been added - please confirm if you are planning on attending. However, if you are unable to attend due to short notice, you will not be charged for the class.

General Housekeeping (Covid-19 Edition)

To maintain a positive studio environment, please kindly consider the following:

  1. Keep voices lowered in or out of a session;
  2. Remove shoes by the door before entering the floor of the studio;
  3. Refrain from wearing strong scents or perfumes, as some have reactions to strong scents;
  4. Enter quietly when arriving late for a group session; 
  5. Not chew gum during session;
  6. Silence cell phones and other data devices;
  7. Clean and put away used mats and equipment after the completion of a group class;
  8. Abstain from wearing regular socks during sessions due to considerations of personal safety (students may be barefoot or otherwise using ToeSox (available at Idlehour Boutique) or comparable sticky grip socks).  We highly recommend wearing sticky socks during your session to limit skin contact with the reformers.
  9. Upon arriving, please wait until at least 5 minutes before the start of your session to come into the boutique.  Please watch the door and allow students to enter in one at a time.  Use appropriate social distancing and allow each student enough time to enter and head to their session/class. Wait in the boutique until a session or group class is completed before entering the group room (unless to use the bathroom). 
  10. Parents of Minor Students:  We ask that you do not come into the studio with your child for their sessions.  This responsibly limits additional contacts and the number of people in our studio at one time.
