Private Mat Sessions
Private or Semi-Private Mat Sessions
Mat sessions are designed to introduce and build up on Joseph Pilates’ classical repertoire while also introducing updated movements and small apparatus to the curriculum. Your private session will incorporate the use of the spine corrector (1/2 barrel), weighted balls, foam rollers, Ron Fletcher towel work and Kathy Corey magic circle work. The session will be designed to address the entire body with emphasis on increasing strength and endurance in the core, along with developing pelvic and shoulder stability. All exercises are safe for the spine, joints and ligaments and are adapted to personally address your individual needs.
We also offer semi-private sessions for those who have a partner or two that want to share the commitment, the fun, the work and the cost. A duet consists of 2 students with one instructor and a trio would be 3 students with one instructor. Working together with one instructor you and your partners can share your experiences, meet challenges and achieve your goals together.
