Meet Laura Harmon
Laura has been practicing yoga since 2006 and is currently a Certified Level 1 YogaFit instructor. She approaches her yoga practice from a Christian perspective, seeking a balance for mind, body and spirit. Along with practicing yoga, Laura is a professional social worker with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Taylor University. Laura resides with her husband in Fort Wayne, IN.
Yoga Classes
Classes with Laura at Pure Movement Studio begin the week of July 11, 2011. Please bring a mat to class.
Descriptions
- Beginners Yoga: This is a yoga class for someone who has never taken a yoga class or for someone just starting a regular practice. Modifications will be given to meet your body where you are.
- Gentle Yoga: This class is great for those of any age who would like to take a yoga class at a slower pace. We will do supine, seated, and standing poses.
- All Levels: Appropriate for anyone of any fitness level, whether you have never taken a yoga class or are a seasoned yogi. Modifications will be given for the novice yogi.
Class Days
Mondays
- Private & semi private classes, by appointment only (11am-6pm)
- Classes offered: beginner’s yoga, gentle yoga, or all levels
Tuesdays
- 7-8pm, all levels class
Prices
- Single class: $12
- 5 classes: $50
- 10 classes: $90
- Private class: $25 for 45 minutes
- Semi-private (perfect for a group of friends): $20 per person
